How is your love life?

O love the Lord, all you His godly ones!

The Lord preserves the faithful [those with moral and spiritual integrity]

And fully repays the [self-righteousness of the] arrogant (Ps. 31:23) AMP

David in this verse of scripture admonishes us to love the Lord. We reap a mighty spiritual benefit when we apply it into our daily lives.

He preserves the faithful….

I am reminded of a conversation that Jesus had with his disciples about the signs of the end-time and his glorious return in Matthew chapter 24. In verse 12 he tells his disciples “because lawlessness is increased, the love of most people will grow cold. But the one who endures and bears up [under suffering] to the end will be saved.” (AMP) Loving the Lord is a preservative…. When trials or tribulations come, loving the Lord will keep His godly ones from becoming bitter people, rooted and grounded in Love.

All of the true gifts of the spirit operate out of Love. I pose a question to myself and other leaders…How is your love life? Is your relationship with the Lord one of moral integrity? Or are you in the second category…the arrogant? Both categories will reap some type of benefit….

In this end-time hour, many want to be great ministers, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. Those who desire to be used mightily of the Lord must make love the highest goal they strive for. A leader’s love life is greatly being tested by the Lord, and the works of darkness in this present world.

It is our love for the Lord that will cause us to freely give ourselves away to him; Spirit, soul, and body. Loving the Lord will also cause us to follow 1 Cor. 13:1-7, and it will be evident to others as we minister in this end-time hour.

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not [a]love [for others growing out of God’s love for me], then I have become only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal [just an annoying distraction]. And if I have the gift of prophecy [and speak a new message from God to the people], and understand all mysteries, and [possess] all knowledge; and if I have all faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love , I am nothing. If I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body [b]to be burned, but do not have love, it does me no good at all. Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking; it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening] AMP

I encourage all the saints, stay in love with the Lord at all cost! Remember that’s your preservative!

Blessings to all,
